With the arrival of sunny days, the PLEY Hotel rooftop, located in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, reopens with a new concept designed for the season.
Designed as an Italian escape in the heart of the capital, this rooftop draws inspiration from the sun-soaked Italy of the 1980s and the vibrant world of Milano da Bere, a symbol of an era where elegance, conviviality, and the art of living were shared over a drink.
It is within this collaborative dynamic, between the PLEY Hotel teams and MADEHO, that the venue has been completely reimagined. Attracting, encouraging guests to linger, and inspiring them to return: a shared vision that guided the work on the atmosphere, the rhythm of the space, and its offering. The rooftop thus becomes a lively destination, designed to establish itself as a regular meeting point in the 8th arrondissement.
A GREEN TERRACE WITH A VIEW OF THE EIFFEL TOWER
Located in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, this rooftop offers a true escape in the heart of the city. Surrounded by greenery and open to the skyline, the terrace has been designed as an urban refuge where guests can slow down and enjoy the sunny days.
The view stretches across the rooftops of Paris, with the Eiffel Tower on the horizon. Between vegetation, light, and perspective, the space strikes a balance between elegance and relaxation, true to the spirit of the PLEY Hotel.
A POP ATMOSPHERE INSPIRED BY 80's ITALY
With Parigi Da Bere, we wanted to bring new energy to the rooftop. Bold colors, glossy touches, and a joyful atmosphere draw freely from 1980s Italian aesthetics.
This creative direction echoes Milano da Bere, a famous slogan that became the emblem of a festive and daring Milan. A time when people gathered on terraces to celebrate the city, encounters, and a certain idea of dolce vita.
Here, the intention is simple: to recreate that spirit in Paris, on a rooftop in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, designed to be enjoyed both day and night.
GENEROUS AND FLAVORFUL ITALIAN CUISINE
In this spirit, the menu extends the experience with a relaxed and convivial approach. It features Italian-inspired dishes revisited with lightness: homemade focaccias to share, burrata with homemade pesto, and mortadella and pistachio bruschettas offering both indulgence and comfort.
For dessert, classics take center stage with tiramisu and panna cotta, served in a simple yet delicious style.
More than a menu, it’s designed to accompany moments: sharing plates, gathering with friends, extending the day, or starting the evening.
A ROOFTOP FOR EVENTS
Alongside its public opening, the rooftop can also be privatized for corporate events or private celebrations.
